Wooster Memorial Park

Come take an easy hike out to greet the giant old meadow sycamore and sit around the campfire. In the circle there will be stories: we may meet a giant, a shape-changing serpent, an oak who calls for justice, or a river who falls in love with a nymph.

About the event

Come take an easy hike with Dianna Rhyan out to greet the giant old meadow sycamore and sit around the campfire. In the circle there will be stories: we may meet a giant, a shape-changing serpent, an oak who calls for justice, or a river who falls in love with a nymph. We may wonder what arbor vitae trees wonder about. From forest and borderland, in ancient myths almost lost forever, nature will say things we no longer can.
